Minori’s Call Privacy Policy
Effective 6 October 2026. This policy applies to the Minori’s Call Android app (package com.supercapybara), published by Supercapybara. Privacy questions: contact@supercapybara.com.
What the app handles
Minori’s Call saves your alarm names, times, repeat days, and enabled state; your selected input and voice languages; and local settings needed to run calls. It uses Android’s calling-account service to place a wake-up call in your system Phone app. On Android 13 and 14, it requests phone-number permission only to check whether its own calling account is enabled. The app does not read or save your phone number.
When you answer a Minori call, the app uses the microphone to hear your reply. It passes live audio to Android’s on-device speech recognition service and processes the resulting text with a classifier bundled in the app. It does not save raw microphone recordings. The app keeps recent diagnostic events on your device, which can include up to 120 characters of recognized speech per event, call status, model results, and voice clip names. Diagnostics retains at most 80 events.
Where data goes
Minori’s Call has no Internet permission, account sign-in, advertising, or analytics. The app does not send your alarms, microphone audio, transcripts, or diagnostics to a developer server. Android’s system Phone and on-device speech services participate in the call and recognition; their handling is governed by the providers of those services. If you choose to download an offline speech language pack, Android’s speech service handles that download.
Choosing Export logs opens Android’s file picker. The app writes a copy of the diagnostic snapshot only to the destination you choose. That destination, including any cloud provider you select, controls its copy under its own terms.
Storage, deletion, and security
Alarms stay in the app’s private device storage until you delete them, clear the app’s data, or uninstall it. One-time alarms are automatically disabled after firing. Settings remain until you change them, clear app data, or uninstall. The diagnostic history keeps only the most recent 80 events; you can remove it at any time with Settings → Diagnostics → Clear. Clearing diagnostics does not remove files you previously exported. Delete those copies from their chosen destination. The app disables Android app-data backup.
You can revoke microphone access in Android settings. Calls that require speech recognition will then be unavailable. Android’s app sandbox limits access to the app’s private storage; exported files follow the protections of the destination you choose.
This website
The Minori’s Call website uses our self-hosted Plausible Analytics to count page visits and interactions, such as playing the voice preview or requesting launch news. The website does not receive alarm settings, microphone audio, speech transcripts, or diagnostics from the app. These website services are separate from the Android app, which has no Internet permission.
The website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google to fetch those fonts, sending connection information such as your IP address and browser request headers. See Google Fonts privacy information. The voice preview plays when you press its play button. The launch-news link opens your mail app with a message addressed to our public contact email.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when app behavior changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@supercapybara.com.
